Deputy Chief Dostalek started his EMS career in 1985 receiving his initial EMT training through Madison College as part of the Fort Atkinson Fire Department. He started volunteering with Kutz Ambulance and continued in his role as a Firefighter / EMT with the Fire Department. After receiving his paramedic certification in 1996, he was employed with Mercy Ambulance in Rockford. Jeff received his Critical Care Paramedic certification in 2006 as part of the operations team with Medix Ambulance in Skokie, Illinois. He returned to Wisconsin in 2007, working at UW Hospital as a paramedic instructor until he was appointed Deputy Chief of Administration for Fitch Rona EMS.
Jeff enjoys photography, Milwaukee Brewer baseball, and spending time with his seven grandkids. Jeff and his wife Danita live in McFarland, where he volunteers as a paramedic with McFarland Fire / Rescue.
