APPLICANT PROCESS

Thank you for your interest in the EMT Paramedic positions at Fitch-Rona EMS. We are currently hiring Full Time and LTE Paramedics.

LTE positions will be used to fill in for full-time staff. We cannot guarantee a set number of hours for LTE staff.

There will be a written and practical test. Applicants will be notified of future testing dates.

Candidates must be able to be licensed as a WI EMT-P. Items to consider when applying include:

You must return your completed application including: copies of current CPR and ACLS certification, a copy of your WI Paramedic license and the completed Background Information Disclosure Form. Also, make sure your Driver’s License number is included on Application
There will be an oral interview.
There will be a written and practical test.
- The written exam is at the Paramedic level.
  - Written exam including multiple choice and essay questions
- Practical stations for skills assessment
  - IV skills
  - Airway management
  - ACLS scenario

Candidates that successfully complete the written and practical assessment exams will move on to the oral interview process. The interviews will be held during the week at Fitchburg Fire Station #2. A map to the station is included with the "APPLICANT PACKET" downloadable files above.
